it's really different.... :)
Just sitting here on the beach.... in South Carolina.. I mean... it's really different... not our norm one might even say... :)
The old fella doesn't even care that it's 58 degrees and he is wearing a jacket... it's Surfside Beach!!!... and it's South Carolina... and it was 21 degrees when we left Vermont!

...of crisis and crises
Did you know that crises is the plural of the word crisis... ever have more than one crisis in a year... maybe even in one month....? That is what changes the word crisis to the word crises? There were times in my life when we seemed to have that plural version happening weekly! :)
......the end of the world...
God really does have a predetermined plan... for all of us...part of that plan is what I have been calling recently... the end of the world as we know it... that world ... as we know it.. comes to an end.... when the things we believe God is going to do for us... even predict God is going to do for us...in fact do not happen..... every follower of Jesus needs to get there...

Amazing what theologians can do to mess up our understanding of things... we love to have experts who tell us how to live... to have Kings to rule over us and tell us what to do... theologians to explain to us the Holy Word of God... because us... "the Idios " (the uneducated ones - the laity) must always have someone who is educated.... the Clerics....

the purpose of prisions
There are no "get out of jail...FREE" cards in life... as much as we in the Christian Community like to preach that... along with preaching our other favorite... that prisons are only places to learn our lessons and then escape from ... the purpose of being placed in a prison is not to escape from it...

I need to say some things about what it is like to be in prison.... from personal experience.... since... I have been arrested... oh.... about a half dozen times, I guess... we all will get there ... some day... maybe you are already there... or if you have been around long enough (like somebody I know very well).... :) then you may have been there several times ... like me....

But you don't understand, Philip..... I am in the Ministry.... I am a Pastor... I am a Missionary... I am serving God.... God always does what we ask Him to do... we are standing on His promises... and God always answers our prayers... hmmmm.... well.. that is true... He does answer... eventually... but not always the way we think He should or have asked him to... so.... maybe... we should just ask Dietrich about that...

I am so smart ... that I now know I am entitled to everything... you owe me... my wife owes me.... the government owes me...
