Willie is a great teacher and took us to a location that was abundant with wild life, spotting turkey, deer, mink and duck. My objective was to learn about equipment and the proper technique of fly fishing. He not only did that, but educated us about stream health, entomology and how to use the right type of fly. But, if you don’t know where to find the trout, none of that would be any good at all. Willie taught us where to look for trout. I told Ellen once this week that a little angel was on my shoulder that helped me plan this trip, from the path we traveled to the place where we rested our head.
