Our guests say so many neat things to us when they say their good-byes
and leave... that is really a great feeling... that somehow we have
accomplished our goals... giving people a really good experience...
a chance to kick back a little and enjoy being pampered a bit. As
great as those nice things they verbalize are... it still truly
amazes me that so many folks take the extra time to write nice
things in our guest books. Strangely enough... since we are in the
hospitality business... these things oft times are about our level
of hospitality... :) ... the great breakfasts they get... the great
conversations... and the laughs.
I was being teased about the way I say... "would you like a cup
of "Cawfee"... one guest recently wrote: "Dear Diary: I am thinking
of telling Philip that he should check the spelling of Coffee in the
dictionary... This came from a joke I told about being able to spell
coffee for them without using any of these letters ...."c-o-f-e"...
which actually is quite simple.. "Kauphi" :)
She finished up with: "thanks for the memories and the great
breakfasts."
But it is one after the other like this... which blesses us out
of our socks. |
