Seeing Through the Matrix
I think I can point to scripture for most of the things I try to communicate. Feel free to ask! :)
The other day, I was talking about seeing through the Matrix (the kingdom of darkness)...... (the kingdoms of this world that we see with our natural eyes)..... and getting past that to see into another Kingdom that can only be seen with the eyes of our heart. The natural world that we look at every day, as against the spiritual world which we cannot see with our natural eyes.
Paul the apostle wrote about it to the church in Corinth and expressed it this way:
2Cor 4:18 ".....we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."
The longer one walks in this other reality, the more real it becomes to us .... much more real than what we can see around us in the natural. May sound a bit weird but.... I invite you to try it. Ask the Lord about it. He just loves for us to talk to Him. If we seek Him with all our heart, we shall surely find Him...... it's a promise in the scripture. We can see that other kingdom.... the kingdom of God.
Jesus spoke about it to Nicodemus. You can read the whole story in John chapter 3..... where He tells Nicodemus that if someone wants to see the kingdom of God, then they need to be born again, a different kind of birth, a spiritual birth.
I am well aware of the use and misuse of the term "Born Again" .... another of those words that kind of loses its meaning with each year that goes by and people witness all the silliness surrounding it. But it's the word Jesus uses to describe what actually happens, so I won't try to say it some other way....... being born again spiritually is what makes it possible to see through the Matrix. Lots more musing to do on this one.
