so....what do we believe!
An old mentor taught me a lot about the importance of believing in our lives.... it is a creative force for good things or for bad things...he told me if I believe for a rainy day... guess what...I will get what I believe for...I will get a rainy day....
Our entire Western World is caught up in believing for rainy days! It borders on insanity. You need to save for a rainy day. You need to invest for your future because you will get old and sick and decrepit and be unable to work. Put away now while you still have a job for that time in the future when the lightning strikes....for that time in the future when you will lose your job, lose your ability to work....that time when you will have no income. For when you are sick...when you have an accident...for when you are in the hospital...for when you have the next disaster in your life....and what you don't invest in the stock market....pour into every conceivable insurance policy ....especially life insurance...what on earth is your poor family ever going to do when you die maybe a week from next Tuesday!
Give me a break! Do you see what they have us all believing for! All the negative stuff...all the disaster stuff! All the stuff that is motivating us by fear....so...all these things that they now have us believing for..... may just come upon us!
Oh yes....then there was the one they didn't tell us about...the one that Satan is now screaming at you daily for months and months since the market crashed..." you are now going to lose all that money you put away for a rainy day!" I don't now....sounds to me like the world is getting the rainy days that they were believing for.
My mentor suggested to me an alternative to believe for...which is what I have chosen to believe instead of all that other baloney. I believe God. I believe what He says in His written word and what His Living Word says Who lives inside of me....I live there every day...
He has taught me how to engage the enemy, the father of lies, the intimidater, the deceiver, the ruler of this world with all his rules and all his systems....and I do that by simply proclaiming truth...every day...at every new attack...
I even proclaim that Truth here on my Blog...every day that I can....
What if....more of us started believing differently..... and proclaiming that Truth....
