Connections are way beyond just some  important thing we need to do... they are essential  to our well being... if I continue along the line that "Philip is the center of his universe".... I will find myself in deep doo... that is a lose/lose proposition... I need others in my life... I need connections...

That's why the enemy works so hard at destroying  relationships... that's why we are constantly bombarded with  the "it's all about me kind of stuff"...  self-fulfillment ... self-discovery... everything revolves around me... the meaning of life is all about me.... who am I ... what is my purpose... I get others involved only  when I can use them for what I want to accomplish... If you won't give me the validation I need... I will dump that relationship and find someone who will... someone else who will recognize just how great and wonderful I really am... sorry... that ain't  gonna work...

This is about all those other people  that I am supposed  to be connected too...  it can only begin by first  connecting with God... that is the supreme connection that makes all other  connections possible... then I can escape from my own little self-centered  world and begin the exciting journey  of  "living my life for others"... especially those that God  connects me to...like Ellen... like Bodie... like Jeff...like Uncle Bill... like so many others on so many different levels... like  "my neighbor as myself"...

Remember all that stuff I wrote about "connecting the dots"... that's what life is about... all those connected dots in our lives... family... friends... that is what is called relationships!      :)

I gotta tell ya another story... this one is about re-connecting... remember I just said that the enemy will stop at nothing  to break up a relationship.  Tomorrow I will tell you about a great relationship  I had 20 years ago... a great connection... that the enemy derailed... and we were disconnected... for a very long season....
