not that I've stopped thinking... :)
the muser is still musing... :)
It is not that he has stopped thinking... or run out of things to think about... actually, he is just not writing about every single thought that passes thru his upper regions ... was that a sigh of relief I just heard? :)
I have often said things about how "more is not better" .... and been applying that to more and more areas of my life... we have kept cutting back on all our "busyness" ... and enjoying the results of those cutbacks....
As we have gone into our slow season here at the Bed and Breakfast, I thought I would be hearing something along the line of... "it is time to begin to once again write down all the things I am seeing and hearing every day"... instead I am hearing that "more is not better" in this area of what I do as well.... it may be only once or twice a week....
This is an interesting turn for me... a turn that ties in with everything else I have been seeing these past couple years... and a big one for me since I love to write... I love to say the things I see... to share what I have been given with others... instead I believe the Lord is saying to cut back... do less...
At the same time... along with the cutting back... I am also working at being more concise when I do write... now that is an even bigger one for me.... will Philip the Muser actually be able to achieve such a thing? ... to become a man of fewer words? .... is such a thing possible? ... hmmmm...
We shall see...
:)
