That really sounds weird doesn't it?  That the only way out is death... hang in there... I'm not talking suicide here... although that seems to be the preferred way out these days ... did you ever look at the stats??  Crazy....

"Suicide is a major, preventable public health problem. In 2007, it was the tenth leading cause of death in the U.S., accounting for 34,598 deaths.¹ The overall rate was 11.3 suicide deaths per 100,000 people.¹ An estimated 11 attempted suicides occur per every suicide death.¹  Suicidal behavior is complex."

Suicide  is Satan's twist on the truth... there he goes all the time..... whispering in your ear... life is totally hopeless... there's no way out of your mess.... so the only way out is to kill yourself... not!

There is another life... true life... spiritual life... that comes from a totally different kind of death.... a spiritual death... it brings us into  a whole different kind of life... a spiritual life... that goes on and on and on ....right thru our natural death here on planet earth... and takes us on and on... right into eternity...

Jesus talked about it all the time...  save your life and you lose it... unless the seed goes into the ground and dies... it's the toughest decision we ever have to make.. to choose to lose our life... in order that He might live His life... in us... it is more real to me than anything else in this life....

It makes no rational sense to us... so we blow it off... until we finally get so fed up with all the stuff going down that we say... I quit... when you do that... just don't kill yourself... just talk to God instead and say... I give up Lord... I am so tired of running my life... how about you come in and run my life... how bout if I die... so you can live..in me.

And when we finally do... how different everything becomes... no more being bored... no more wondering what life is all about... everything suddenly comes together... and we begin to live a whole new way...

I discovered a guy a couple years ago... who explains really well what this new life is about... maybe more important... he explains what it is not about...I got some of his books in... he sent them to me free... sends them to everybody free... a guy who actually lives what he says... pretty amazing in these days of religious profiteering... refreshing... to say the least. Remember what I said the other day about the worst addiction of all?.... the religious addiction?
