...on the other hand
On the one hand we have the cop out on life of suicide... the one I've been talking about for a few days now...on the other hand... we have a society obsessed with keeping folks alive forever... as if we should all live forever... here is yet another Satanic twist on truth...
We have been created with a spirit that can be brought to eternal life by God's own Spirit ... that simply means we can live forever... that is truth....but that is not our physical life... not our mortal bodies.... we get just so many years here on this planet... then that's it...
With all the wonderful advances in understanding nutrition... how to eat right... supplements... the awareness of what we need to take care of our machinery... exercise... fitness... the total emphasis on wellness in the U.S. has been pretty amazing.
Then we have all the medical advances... it is truly incredible the way we can keep these very mortal machines running... operations that keep us alive... medications that keep us going on and on like the energizer bunny...
My problem with the medical end of things is... that the Satanic lie somehow comes in that we should keep people's mortal bodies living at all cost... it is so bad now that we can't just let folks die and leave that part to God instead of the medical profession.
It is not an evil thing to die... we all get there... someday... we are not supposed to be in charge of that department...but we have so bought into the lie... into that twist of the truth of eternal life..... that we can't just let people die...
"Let my people go...." Personally this old feller is ready... whenever God is ready... Ellen and I have talked about this any number of times... probably every time I see people we know and love trying to keep others we know and love... alive.
She knows I do not want her to keep me alive artificially or by medications or anything else... just let me continue on into the rest of eternity.... it really is a better place...
One would think that of all people... the religious community... would think this way too... all their emphasis on how wonderful it will be in the great by and by... right? Then why do people who believe so strongly in eternal life... in life after death.... struggle with letting people go just as much as others who do not believe in those things.... hmmmmm...
Guess there is still more to look at.... yet another lie....
