...of bailouts and prayers
First came the age of enlightenment... we all became so smart ... now we know everything... so .... that enabled us to move on... and we entered into our present age... the age of entitlement... I am so smart ... that I now know I am entitled to everything... you owe me... my wife owes me.... the government owes me... God owes me.... right! (that's not a question... it is a sarcastic comment). :)
Let's move on to bailouts.... since I am entitled to everything... I can now do whatever I want... (I am entitled to do that)... and I can do it whenever I feel like doing it... (of course... why not?... I deserve it... I am an entitled one) .... so... when things get messed up... like I spend more than I make... I use people and abuse people... I sow garbage and start reaping garbage... then... of course... I am entitled to the next thing... to get my bailout.
Ask the auto industry... maybe the boys at AIG.... our government even agreed with the entitled ones.... they got their bailouts... of course ....there were also those who packed their golden parachutes.... just in case the airplane should hit some turbulence during their corporate flight... they could then bail out... how many of your friends and family lost $10-$20 grand just with Lehman Bros...... as the executives grabbed up their bonuses and bailed out of the plane before it crashed. But it's alright... they were entitled to it. Right? (this one is a question.. a very serious question)...
Our religious systems are in perfect agreement with the world systems... we got enlightened and entitled... we deserve to live trouble free lives... to just pray for anything... and get it.... if we don't get it then it is because we haven't asked for it... so ask... whatever you want... doesn't matter how we live... what we do... what kind of mess we suddenly find ourselves in....God will bail us out... what do you want today?... right now!... health... wealth... happiness... new car... your dream job... big house... whatever... you are entitled... God will do whatever you ask for... Right? (another very serious question)
Sorry... I don't think so. Been like this for too long a time. Old T. A. Sparks said it this way... way back around the time I was born... and we need to learn this ... as we walk along thru life... seeing over and over again ...how what we think clashes with what God thinks....
