so there we were.... talking about it again... you know.... yet one more time... about how much longer we should plan to keep on innkeeping... what is the next 5 year plan?... when should we think seriously about getting out?.... about putting the place on the market?

the reality of course... is....

if you read my last "Musing" you would realize how silly all this is for me since I can't plan the next 5 minutes.... much less the next 5 years...

but we did it anyway... 'cause it's always fun... great communication exercise for me and Ellen... having to talk about and  just face the realities of "keeping on keeping on".... talk about what it's like being our age and working 12-14 hours every day... the extent of the physical part of the work we do... especially the things that "philip the handyman" has to do keeping everything fixed up....when the reality is... a couple of hours of real physical labor kind of leaves the old fella a bit wiped....

besides... he would rather play golf!

what the heck... why don't you just make me an offer I can't refuse?
