It has been quite a season for the old fella.... yet another time around... and Philip is not talking about the seasons of the year...

as wonderful as the four seasons may be in this marvelous business... this wonderful little Bed & Breakfast where we have the privledge of serving every day.... this business where  we are just starting the "foliage" season in Vermont... this season which is our busiest 3 weeks of the year....

but that is not the season I am writing about...

The season I'm writing about today is the season of philip's "not writing very often"... and each time the season seems to get a little longer before I am able to write again... not that I have run out of words... rather, I have run out of the ability to say them.... each day I become a little more "wordless"... as I realize that everything I am seeing every day... and everything I am experiencing every day... I realize I have become unable to put those things into words... unable to explain.... any of those things.

I have been slowly brought from the person who had the answers for every question in life... to a guy who can't even articulate the question... the more I discover about this incredible mystery called "life"... the more I realize how little I know....

I am enjoying the season... always hoping the day will come when I can say something about this season... that might even make sense...  hmmmm...
