• This Lilac Room is so beautifully decorated and accomodates the 4 of us perfectly. My kids were quite enthralled with the deck. For some reason, when you said the Lilac Room was available I imagined a room painted ith 4 walls of lavender and became a little worried. But then a customer breakfast and Ellen's sweet patient voice over the phone attracted us here as well as the reknowned breakfast custom made. Philip and Ellen spent time with all the guests, as did we, making the visit feel like visiting with family. The gift shop has treasures for those who are four years to ninety-four years. It is fun to just browse and hear the stories about how the gifts are selected - thank you, Ellen. As for the "chef" - couldn't be better. Thank you Philip and Ellen.
