My goals...
In the begining, my goal was to see if I could actually write down my thoughts from day to day. Guess that was easier than I thought....
My motivation was the proclamation Jesus made when He stood in the synagogue (Luke 4:16) and explained why He had come to earth. He read the following from the book of Isaiah
61:1 ¶ The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, Because the LORD has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives, And freedom to prisoners;
2 To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,
3 To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.
During my morning time with the Lord a few months back, my Father spoke to me very specifically, that in the same way He sent His Son Jesus, He was sending His son Philip to do those very same things...... by making the same proclamations to the afflicted, the broken hearted, the captives and the prisoners.
My desire is to simply attempt to do that.
