Winter is just not going without a fight! It's snowing even as I type... supposed to get at least 8" in the Lamoille Valey as it continues to sputter on and off outside... should bring folks up for the weekend to our once again Winter Wonderland...nothing like another chance to come play in the snow...! What ever happened to tomorrow being the first day of Spring?
Almost here!
Spring is almost ready to spring forth!!! It becomes "official" on March 20th... can you really believe it... winter is actually melting away right outside our windows... down to the final "Spring Skiing" up on the mountains... our Lift Ticket Vouchers close out for the year on March 24th... philip is planning to wear something green on St. Patty's Day to honor all our wonderful Irish friends who have stayed with us over the years... and my wonderful Irish wife... egads... next thing you know it will be Easter!!!

This weekend we switch back into our normal activity of very busy weekends.... probably stay that way right thru the middle of March before things slow down again... don't wait too long to book... still a couple rooms open for tonight but nothing left for tomorrow (Saturday 1/19)... or for Friday1/25... check our availability calendar for January and February... and...remember our motto... "it's never too early to book" ... like Foliage Season?... we hit 37 room nights sold for Foliage this week... there are simply no room nights left at for 10/5 thru 8... so see if there is anything else that might work for you... 2013 is looking like another very busy year and we are only half way through January! 2012 is now part of our history"... 14 years of innkeeping history for us ends this June when we begin our 15th year...last year we again had the privilege of hosting all kinds of wonderful people... (about 1200/1300 every year... :)... now we are looking forward to the New Year and seeing many old friends once again during 2013... as well as making a whole bunch more new friends... what a great way to spend our lives... WE LOVE IT!!!! Come visit us here in Vermont... lots of rooms available... same reasonable rates... the longer you stay... the more you save... :)
