No better time to come...:)
Seriously... this is a really great time to come ski in Vermont... it is the calm after the storm.... after the total buzy ness of the holidays... we kind of quickly come from having no rooms available to having every room available...

Celebrate sanely while we move on into the New Year... what a year 2011 was for us... broke all the records... totally unreal given the present economy... we are guessing that folks really appreciate our reasonable rates... great reviews... and the great experiences we give them... they just keep on coming back.... doesn't get any better than that...

Snow has finally arrived... Christmas is over... New Years is about to happen... so I am thinking about still having a couple rooms left for New Year's Eve.... and plenty of availability for fun times in the snow January thru March.... don't forget our discounted lift tickets for Smuggs (only $55 for an all day 3 mountain adult ticket - valid all the time...) as well as coupons for Stowe and Jay Peak...
Gift Certificates!
When we re-did ourweb-site... one major thing we re-did was our new Gift Certificates tied in with Ellen's little Gift Shoppe... it works really neat... the whole thing happens right online... the recipent of the gift certificate gets a code on the certificate that they enter when they go online to make a reservation... all they have to do is enter the code during the online checkout process...

I don't know if anyone was wondering what happened to Philip's Musings when we re-did our Home Page back in December of 2011....but... just in case someone was wondering... thought I'd mention that I need to stop writing for now.... just doing a little business blogging ... alway's something interesting going on in the old fella's life...
I think it is still very important to have a blog on the site... (maybe I should say... even more importantly... that it is also the encouragement from our web-hosts to do so.... who just happen to be experts in Search Engine Optimization)...

It still boggles my mind that it took me over 40 years to finally enter into His rest... so that motivates me to keep asking the Lord how can we shorten the time to get us to that place... His rest... as in ...duh... resting.... like not working our butts off for Him... His rest...
